Nationwide Campaign focuses on mobilizing voters for 2020 election
Substantial Magazine is proud to announce their role as an official partner in the When We All Vote campaign, a non-profit, non-partisan organization launched by Michelle Obama in 2018. The nationwide campaign was created with a mission to increase participation in every election and close the race and age voting gap by changing the culture around voting, harnessing grassroots energy, and through strategic partnerships to reach every American.

Civic engagement has always been a top priority for Substantial Magazine and encouraging our communities to vote starts with awareness, education, and participation. When We All Vote is changing the culture around voting using a data-driven and multifaceted approach to increase participation in elections. In the months directly before the 2018 midterm elections, When We All Vote organized 2,500 local voter registration events across the country, engaged 200 million Americans online about the significance of voting, and texted nearly four million voters the resources to register and get out to vote. The campaign also encourages participation within communities and schools across the country.
We look forward to sharing resources and events in the coming months as we take part in a historical time in our nation’s history. Together, we will work towards changing the culture around voting—starting with you.
