Substantial Media LLC to grow content offerings through strategic partnership with The Lux Blog NC—naming Kimberly Knight new Editor-in-Chief

Raleigh, NC—Substantial Media LLC, the publisher of Substantial Magazine, a Black-owned and operated award winning multimedia platform dedicated to purposefully and consistently sharing local Black news and information is teaming up with Kimberly Knight and The Lux Blog NC to further amplify positive stories within the Black community.
Substantial is pleased to announce that we have entered into a strategic partnership with The Lux Blog NC to enhance our storytelling capabilities and brand reach. This partnership is an example of the growth opportunities that can be achieved through Black media collaboration.

As part of this partnership, Kimberly Knight will join Substantial Magazine as it’s new Editor-in-Chief, and Evelyne Del will now serve as the Director Business Strategy & Partnerships.

As part of this new partnership, The Lux Blog NC will power Substantials culture and community content pillars and work to promote diverse content, featuring creators and authors across a number of sectors with a specific focus on NC arts, culture, style and entertainment. The upcoming issue set to launch at the end of October “Rediscovering the Economic Power of the Arts,” shows first hand the importance of highlighting our voices and our stories.
